Cambridgeshire County Council are issuing a Soft Market exercise for the provision of training for staff to learn how to fit LARCs and to learn how to teach people to fit LARCs in order to rectify the current deficits. This work needs to be focused on PCNs/ geographies where there is a current gap in provision. There are a number of primary care practices across Cambridgeshire and Peterborough who have very few staff/ no staff at all who can fit LARCs. This means that large numbers of people don't have access to LARCs and the benefits they provide.
