Notice Description

Rotherham MBC is looking to create a framework of prequalified contractors for the following categories: Lot 1 - Flat Roofing (works up to the value of PS250K per individual contract) These could include but not restricted to: * Repairs to flat roofs, * Recovering flat roofs, * Replacement of rainwater goods. Lot 2 - Pitched Roofing (works up to the value of PS250K per individual contract) These could include but not restricted to: * Repairs to pitch roofs, * Recovering pitch roofs, * Replacement of rainwater goods Lot 3 - Demolition Works (works up to the value of PS250k per individual contract) These could include but not restricted to: * Partial demolition, * Full demolition * Clearance of a site Lot 4 - Asbestos Removal (works up to the value of PS250k per individual contract) These could include but not restricted to: * Partial asbestos removal within schools (ceilings etc) * Full asbestos strip Lot 5 - Building Works 1 (works up to the value of PS150k per individual contract) These could include but not restricted to: * Refurbishment works (which could include internal alterations to schools, ceiling replacement in classrooms, refurbishment of flats, alterations to office buildings), * Extensions (which could include extensions to foster homes, classroom extensions) * New build Lot 6 - Building Works 2 (works between the range of PS150k - PS500K per individual contract) These could include but not restricted to: * Refurbishment works (which could include internal alterations to schools, ceiling replacement in classrooms, refurbishment of flats, alterations to office buildings), * Extensions (which could include extensions to foster homes, classroom extensions) * New build (which could include new classroom blocks, new offices) Lot 7 - Structural Repairs (works up to the value of PS50k per individual contract) These could include but not restricted to: * Concrete repairs (which could include isolated repairs to houses and flats) * Strengthening works (which could include reinforcing retaining walls) Lot 8 - Mechanical Works (works up to the value of PS200k per individual contract) These could includinclude but are not restricted to: * Boiler replacements * Heating and hot water pipework replacements * Major heating repairs * Installation of ventilation systems * Kitchen canopy ventilations * Air conditioning installations Lot 9 - Electrical Works (works up to the value of PS200k per individual contract) These could include but not restricted to: * Rewires * New lighting schemes * Replacement lighting schemes
