Summary of the contracting process

The Parliamentary and Health Service Ombudsman (PHSO) has initiated an open tender process for the "Recruitment Agency Framework" to provide various recruitment services including permanent, temporary, and executive placements. This contract spans an initial term of two years, commencing on 4th January 2021, with the potential to extend for an additional two years. The estimated total value of the contract is £7.5 million, with a tender submission deadline set for 11:00 on 30th October 2020. This tender represents a substantial opportunity for recruitment firms, especially those with expertise in various niche markets and the capacity to fulfil diverse service mandates. With the potential for up to 20 suppliers to be included across different lots, firms that demonstrate strong performance in candidate sourcing and selection, as well as a commitment to social responsibility, will be well-positioned to compete. Small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) are encouraged to participate, leveraging their agility and local market knowledge to drive bidding success.
