To review appeals under WATEO for APHA

Notice Description

To appoint a person with knowledge and experience to consider written representations made by Transporters in response to Notices served by the APHA suspending/revoking their Authorisations/approvals. To review the evidence, and to consider whether the proposed suspensions were a reasonable and proportionate response to the infringements identified. To prepare reports setting out the findings to the Head of Defra's Animal Welfare team who acts on behalf of Secretary of State. Additional information: Please note that Defra procurement uses e-tendering, provided by Bravosolutions. In order to access the Bravo system you will need to be registered. If you're already registered on the Bravo portal please check that your registration includes Defra, as you have to specify us in order to correctly receive the tender documents.
