Greater Manchester Police are seeking expressions of interest from companies able to Supply, delivery and after-sales support for a 5.56mm Compact Carbine (also referred to as "weapons" and "rifles"). Greater Manchester Combined Authority are inviting Tenderers to submit bids for the Greater Manchester Police led Framework Authorised firearms officers (AFO) are a professional team of officers suitably equipped and trained to provide specialist firearms support to the Force(s). AFO's are also trained in surveillance, VIP escort and protection, rifle support, specialist method of entry, advanced firearms medic and firearms instructors.
