PLEASE APPLY VIA THE KENT BUSINESS PORTAL & REGISTER HERE FOR FURTHER DETAILS: https://procontract.due-north.com/Advert?advertId=57efdb00-04dd-ec11-8114-005056b64545&p=8691483f-2f3d-e711-80e1-005056b64545 Medway Council has secured funding to replace the wetpour safety surfacing at Balmoral Gardens play area in Gillingham. Contractors are invited to tender for the play area safety surfacing to a total budget of PS40,000 (ex VAT). The budget must not be exceeded. REQUIREMENTS: The works will include: The following is a summary of the mandatory requirements: * Remove all faulty safety surfacing as indicated on Location Plan - estimate of approx. 380sqm and remove to licenced facility. * Regulate sub-base, supply and lay new wetpour safety surfacing to meet safety standards (BS EN1177). Note: colour is preferred, please state if black is only within budget. * Please see section D6 for specification. * Warranties/guarantees for the safety surfacing must be provided. * Post installation inspection must take place before opening to the public.
