Notice Description

What is Cornwall's and the Isle of Scilly definition of independent advocacy? "Although many advocacy services are commissioned by public authorities they are required to function independently. Independent advocacy promotes the exploration of options and choices with vulnerable children, young people and adults by assisting them to understand the information that is available to them. Independent advocacy helps in navigating public services and in accessing the right support to achieve greater independence and wellbeing". 2015 integrated project.
