Summary of the contracting process

The Office of Rail and Road (ORR) is currently conducting a procurement process for the "ORR London Fit Out Project," focused on building installation work. This tender is in the planning stage, with a pre-qualification questionnaire (PQQ) response deadline set for 14 December 2018. Interested suppliers are required to submit their responses to Knight Frank, based in London. Following the PQQ phase, the ORR plans to issue the main invitation to tender (ITT) on 18 January 2019, with site visits scheduled for the week commencing 28 January 2019. The overall contract period is expected to run from 1 April 2019 to 16 August 2019, with a minimum contract value of £2.5 million and an anticipated total value of £3 million.

This tender presents an excellent opportunity for construction firms and contractors specialising in fit-out works, particularly those with experience in similar projects and a solid financial standing. Small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) are encouraged to participate, as the ORR aims to assess their capabilities through the PQQ process. The project involves a significant construction phase, making it suitable for businesses equipped with the requisite skills and resources to deliver high-quality installation and fit-out solutions in a commercial setting.
