The aim of this project is to replace the tidal gate hydraulic ram, the storm gate and tidal gates hydraulic pipes, the replacement of near obsolete gate controls and associated ancillary equipment and to consider the replacement options for both gates locking pin actuators - two per gate. Thought should be given to identify and eliminate, where reasonably practical, all potential single points of failure.
