Notice Title

ESCC Approved List for the provision of Residential and Nursing Care Home Services.

Notice Description

The Council is updating its specification and contract terms and is seeking to contract with providers who meet the quality standards and service delivery requirements set out with in the application documents to deliver the Services ("Approved Providers"). The Approved Provider list will be continually open to allow new providers to apply to join and become an Approved Provider at any time. The Specification sets out how the Service Provider will deliver care and support in a residential or nursing home setting for individuals assessed and supported by East Sussex County Council on behalf of the Adult Social Care and Health Department. The overall aim is for the Client to live in a safe and friendly environment where their care and support needs are met, and to enable them to be as active and retain as much independence as possible. The Service Provider will support the well-being and the quality of life of the Client. The Approved List will be used to provide individual client placements through a call off process, as well as discharge to assess' (D2A) beds and Block bed contracts on behalf of the Council and its NHS partners. This will be the Council's primary route for contracting the Services during its term.
