Notice Description

Following the Varney report in 2008, it was decided that all Contact Centres in the public sector had to have accreditation to a professional body. Membership reflects high standards of staff care and customer care. It was decided that this should be the Contact Centre Association (CCA). All Contact Centres in the public sector are accredited by the CCA. The accreditation allows us to benchmark with other Contact Centres. This keeps DVLA up to date with new white papers and performance metrics for both the public and private sector. DVLA has chosen the CCA Global Standard C as a benchmark and currently hold global Version 6 accreditation and CCA Membership. As CCA are the only body that can provide CCA Membership a Single Tender Action (STA) was the only appropriate procurement route. The proposed duration of the contract is 4 years.
