Summary of the contracting process

Surrey County Council, through SE Shared Services, is currently conducting a tender process for the SCC IC Family Centre Services, targeting social work services without accommodation in the South East of England. This procurement is in the open tender stage, with the closing date for submissions set for 3rd June 2019. The contract period is scheduled to commence on 30th September 2019 and will last until 29th September 2024. The estimated contract value is £10,516,810, and providers will be required to deliver services in specified areas, including Elmbridge, Spelthorne, Surrey Heath, and Waverley, focusing on children aged 0 to 11 and their families.

This tender presents significant opportunities for businesses, particularly small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and voluntary and community sector organisations (VCSEs), to engage in the delivery of essential family support services. Companies that specialise in social work services, guidance services, or early intervention programmes would be particularly well-suited to compete. By leveraging the new Early Help Hub model, successful bidders will have the chance to make a meaningful impact in local communities while also fostering growth and sustainability within their organisations.
