Notice Description

Your local environmental volunteering scheme is looking for a sponsor; can you help us deliver more projects in 2018-19? Leicester Environmental Volunteers won the Environmental Services Innovation Award for green space innovation at a ceremony hosted the Association for Public Service Excellence (APSE) in October 2017. The scheme is run by Leicester City Council's parks department and covers a variety of environmental, conservation and horticultural activities. Last year, 5,930 volunteers donated more than 58,000 hours of their time under this initiative. Organisations interested in sponsoring the scheme are requested to use the link on the right hand side ('Apply online') to access the full application pack. The deadline for proposals to this opportunity is 12:00hours, Monday, 19th February 2018. Only submissions via Due North e-sourcing portal using the template provided will be accepted.
