CPU1904 - Condition Surveys and Asset Management

Notice Description

Nottingham City Council (hereafter 'the authority') is seeking tenders from sufficiently experienced and qualified contractors for the provision of Condition Surveys and Asset Management. It is critical that in carrying out an AEI survey, the treatments are recorded strictly according to the definitions and surveying procedure as specified. A requirement of this contract is for the survey Contractor to provide to the authority at the time of tendering, documentation describing procedures and methodology for the following activities: - Calibration of equipment - Training - Quality Assurance - check surveys, sample checks, - Health and Safety The authority expects all survey data supplied by the survey contractor to be collected in accordance with that specified. To ensure this, the data supplied by the survey contractor will be subject to an internal audit carried out by the authority or by an external verifier. The auditor appointed by the authority must be accredited in UKPMS Visual Surveys and proficient in Annual Engineer's Inspection (AEI) Surveys. The road sections to be audited will be chosen completely by random from the batches of work received by the authority from the contractor on a weekly basis.
