Market Engagement - Nottinghamshire County Council's Older People's Housing with Care Strategy 2018-2025
Notice Description
You are invited to attend Nottinghamshire County Council's Market Engagement event on the 29th of November at South Forest Leisure Complex. NG21 9JA Arrival from 9.30a.m with a 10a.m start and a light lunch at 12. The aim of the event is to share Nottinghamshire County Council's Older People's Housing with Care Strategy 2018-2025 and open up discussions about how housing developers and managers may be able to help us deliver this strategy. The benefits of appropriate housing on the health and wellbeing of the population is well recognised and Nottinghamshire County Council encourages the development of older people's bespoke accommodation in order to prevent and slow down the need for care services. The provision of onsite care for those who need it ensures that Housing with Care (Extra Care) is a viable alternative to residential settings. The event is aimed at housing providers and developers, health colleagues and district and borough council colleagues involved in housing strategy and planning. Following a main presentation and open discussion a light lunch will be served to enable further networking opportunities for developers and housing managers who may wish to work in partnership. There will be the opportunity for individual providers to talk to Nottinghamshire County Council Commissioners further after lunch. Any special needs or dietary requirements please email Anthony.severn@nottscc.go.uk To book a place at the event please use the following link (cut and paste into your browser): https://www.eventbrite.com/e/sharing-nottinghamshire-county-councils-older-peoples-housing-and-care-strategy-2018-2025-tickets-52082440983
