The University intends to transition from its existing traditional three-tier virtualisation environment to a hyperconverged solution that will deliver enhanced efficiency, streamline management, and expand automation and integration capabilities. This move is driven by the need to modernise the University's IT infrastructure in order to better support academic, administrative, and research initiatives. By adopting a hyperconverged platform, the University aims to reduce operational complexities, lower total cost of ownership, and improve scalability.
