Notice Description

This PIN is not a call to competition and is intended to alert suppliers to a potential procurement exercise to be run jointly by the Home Department and Department for Education and related market engagement activity. The market engagement will consist of three separate activities: 1. A Virtual Market Engagement Event (9th October 2023, 11AM-1PM) 2. One-to-One Market Engagement sessions with representatives of each procuring Department during the week commencing October 9th. 3. Completion of a short online survey The overall aim of these engagements will be to: - Provide the opportunity to engage with the market and assess market interest in delivering Home Department and Department for Education services; and - Advise of potential next steps in the process; and - Allow interested parties to ask questions about the services. Supplier Questionnaire: A link to a supplier survey shall be provided in due course Virtual Market Engagement Event: Suppliers are invited to attend a Virtual Market Engagement Event on 9th October 2023, 11AM-1PM (max two per organisation). The virtual session will be run via Microsoft Teams. The virtual session will offer an introduction to UK ENIC, an overview of the service and a Q&A session. To participate in our virtual supplier event and respond to the pre-event survey, please register for an account and view the "current opportunities" page in Jaggaer at: https://education.app.jaggaer.com . Search for "UK ENIC." All communications with DfE will be held via Jaggaer and you should use the messaging function to provide email addresses for attendees and your availability for 1-2-1 sessions (duration up to 2 hours) to be held during the week commencing October 9th. A more detailed description of the services relating to this PIN can be found as attached documents within the JAGGAER system. The Department for Education is the Authority procuring the UK ENIC service. UK ENIC (The European Network of Information Centres) is the UK's National Agency responsible for providing information, advice and expert opinion on vocational, academic and professional qualifications from over 200 countries. UK ENIC provides the sole official source of information on international education, wide-ranging international qualifications and skills attained from outside the UK and does so on behalf of individuals with overseas qualifications, Government departments, academic institutions and commercial companies. The Secretary of State for the Home Department, acting through UK Visas and Immigration (UKVI), is the Authority procuring the UK Visa Recognition of Professional Qualifications verification service. This service will evaluate and assure evidence from customers who hold International educational qualifications. The service will also check and assure International educational qualifications for equivalency to UK educational standards and levels, assuring the credibility and authenticity of the certificate and qualifications submitted.
