Notice Title

London Dynamic Integrated (Urgent) Care Plan

Notice Description

NHS South West London CCG on behalf of all London CCGs is lead commissioner for a London Dynamic Integrated (Urgent) Care Plan (UCP). The UCP is predominantly a software service that enables the sharing with urgent care services (111, London Ambulance Service, Emergency Departments in Acute Trusts) of treatment escalation plans, crisis care plans, end of life care plans, patient specific protocols and personalised care plans that have been co-developed and documented by different health and care disciplines. On behalf of London CCGs, as the lead commissioner of the service, South West London (SWL) CCG, is seeking an innovative, collaborative development partner or supplier to build on the existing and emerging care planning and digital initiatives to transform the way care plans are captured and made available to patients and the health and social care system. We are seeking a partner that will develop enhanced access, interoperability and dynamic care planning functionality that enables continuous (urgent) care planning across multiple clinicians in multiple organisations. The solution should build on the existing capability and contribute to and interact with information available in the One London Health and Care Data Service (the London Care Record). There were 50,588 Londoners, 0.5% of the London population, who had a co-created urgent care plan documented on the existing software service in December 2020. Of these, 4324 were viewed 9704 times by urgent care services in that month. Additional information: SWL London CCG (on behalf of all London CCGs) is seeking to engage with potential suppliers of these services to understand market capability, readiness, and capacity to inform its procurement intentions. This Early Engagement Notice implies no commitment from the lead CCGs or any other CCG it acts on behalf of to publish a Contract Notice. The Contracting Authority has published market engagement collateral on the EU Supply as per the link above. Interested suppliers are requested to visit the portal, search for opportunity ID 43881 and review the documents contained therein, and complete the Market Engagement Questionnaire by 5pm on 2nd April 2021. All suppliers are able to set up a free account to access EU Supply. The EU-Supply portal will be used by the CCG to communicate with interested providers including sharing latest documents being developed by the CCG ahead of any procurement process. It will also be used to confirm to interested providers details and timing of the procurement process, if one is to take place. The Contracting Authority reserves the right to engage further with suppliers individually or collectively to explore solutions, and validate and refine its specification prior to any future procurement.
