BT1551 Bike Ability Cycle Training

Notice Description

The contractor will be responsible for delivering and booking combined level 1 and 2 Bike ability cycle training to Luton schools for years 5 and 6 and occasionally year 7. The training will be funded from the Bike ability grant funding. The minimum duration for training will conform to the current Bike ability Delivery Guidance, which states level 1 must be delivered over 1 hours and level 2 must be delivered over 6 hours. The contractor will deliver training to full school classes of approximately 30 to 36 children. The contractor will be required to provide enough instructors to accommodate groups of this size in accordance with the current Bike ability Guidance. We expect a minimum of 750 training places to be delivered over the 25 weeks to 30th March 2023 and a maximum of 1,500.
