Notice Description

The University of Sheffield requires an Ultra-High Integrity counter gravity aluminium furnace which has the ability to melt between 300kg and 350kg of aluminium with a maximum individual pour of 220kg. It is envisaged all the equipment shall be surface mounted avoiding any special civil works. Preference will be given to suppliers that can demonstrate previous experience of design, manufacture, installation and project management of counter gravity aluminium furnaces. (References required). This procurement is an open procedure carried out in furtherance to the publications of a Prior Information Notice, published on the 2nd of September 2016 http://ted.europa.eu/udl?uri=TED:NOTICE: 2016/S 169-303511-2016:TEXT:EN:HTML The University wishes to exercise its option to reduce the timeframe for return of tenders as permissible under the Public Procurement Regulations 2015. Your tender response must be submitted through the University's on line e-tendering system https://in-tendhost.co.uk/sheffield to arrive by the date and time specified below. Late tenders will not be considered. Tenders are to be submitted by the 18th April 2017 at 12:00pm.
