Notice Title

Provision of Housing Repairs Mobile Working Solution - Pre Market Engagement

Notice Description

Leicester City Council ("the Council") are commencing a formal process to obtain market intelligence on offerings in the market on both commercial off-the-shelf solutions as well as any build offerings in the MS Power platform (or alternate) in relation to a mobile solution for housing repairs. This solution will primarily be used for the Housing Repairs and Maintenance Service. Leicester City Council own approximately 20,000 properties and undertakes around 90,000 repairs a year. These repairs are carried out about by around 350 trade operatives. The Council uses Unit4 (Agresso) as it's Finance system and NEC Housing as it's Housing Management Solution. Repairs are first raised within NEC Housing; however, the proposed solution should allow the Council to appoint and effectively schedule repairs to individual operatives and allow those operatives to progress repairs in real-time (including ordering materials) via a mobile device while on site. It should also include functionality to allow operatives to fully complete electronic certification (e.g., CP12 Gas Safety Certificates). Further should the Council have any new requirements for replacement equipment during the term of the agreement then these would be placed through this Contract by quotation and variation.
