Notice Description

1508/311/SW/CTI/16 Steel/Nickel Base (Air) Heat Treatment Facility The University of Sheffield wishes to invite tenders for the supply of a Steel/Nickel Base (Air) Heat Treatment Facility for use within the Advanced Manufacturing Research Centre's Castings Group at Catcliffe, Rotherham. Scope of Requirement: The requirement is for a Steel (Air) Heat Treatment Facility which has the ability to heat treat steel/Nickel based castings up to 1250 degrees Celsius. It is envisaged that the facility will consist of two furnaces, a transfer system, quench tank, and all appropriate ancillary equipment for the complete heat treatment of castings. Tender Process and Documentation: This procurement is an open E.U. exercise carried out in support of a Prior Information Notice published on the 5th of August 2016 http://ted.europa.eu/udl?uri=TED:NOTICE:270822-2016:TEXT:EN:HTML The University has exercised its right to reduce the time limit for receipt of tenders to 15 days. The ITT can be downloaded by registering and expressing your interest on the University's e-tendering system https://in-tendhost.co.uk/Sheffield If you have any questions or comments in relation to this tender they must be submitted via the In-tend System, this can be accessed at https://in-tendhost.co.uk/Sheffield Completed tenders must be returned through the same e-tendering system.
