PHE Place and Regions are seeking to commission a Research project which will support PHE's response to the Covid-19 pandemic in the following ways: o Providing "expert advice to DHSC, other Government departments and scientific advisory groups, including national work to support vulnerable groups" o Provide the evidence, support and advice needed locally, nationally and internationally on improving uptake and reducing inequalities of the Covid vaccine o Support local and regional partners and provide expert advice to govt departments and scientific advisory groups to support vulnerable groups ; in this case underserved communities o Support and deliver evidence-based public health communications and guidance This research will inform future practice across the wider health and care systems across not just vaccine hesitancy but broader health and Inequalities such as obesity, cancer, mental health etc There is a need to support local and regional partners and provide expert advice to govt departments and scientific advisory groups in support of vulnerable groups and this study will form an integral part of policy in this area.
