Notice Description

Southwark Council wishes to invite interested parties to participate in soft market testing in relation to jointly developing and jointly owning a construction company in the form of joint venture to deliver new council homes. Southwark Council is committed to building 11,000 council homes by 2043. So as well as having the construction skills to deliver good value, high quality and expedient delivery, we are looking for a partner which shares our commitment to ethical employment practice, social value and transparent community engagement. This soft market testing will help us to validate and refine the proposed model. A Prior information notice ref 2020/S 109-265770 was dispatched to OJEU and published on 8/6/20. Further information can be obtained through Pro-contract (as detailed under reference number DN479550, where there is a questionnaire which interested parties can complete and return.
