4336.EFM.SW.24 Firth Court Turret Repairs

Notice Description

The University of Sheffield is out to tender on behalf of the Department of Estates and Facilities Management for a repairs to the turrets which are a part of Firth Court. Scope of Requirement: The works involve the replacement of the existing concrete filler joist turret flat roof structures with new steel and timber roof structures; window replacements; masonry repairs and the installation of new roof coverings. In addition, enabling works are required to facilitate the removal of the roof structures including temporary dismantling of internal partitions and alterations to plant and roof access equipment. The works are to be delivered in a phased approach in accordance with the tender programme; starting with the two Western Bank turrets to the rear of Firth Court, followed by the two front elevation turrets which are to be delivered sequentially. The full technical specification can be found in the tender documentation which will be sent to you once you have expressed your interest. Tender Process and Documentation: This is an open exercise. The ITT can be downloaded by registering and expressing your interest on the University's e-tendering system https://in-tendhost.co.uk/Sheffield. If you have any questions or comments in relation to this tender they must be submitted via the In-tend System, this can be accessed at https://in-tendhost.co.uk/Sheffield Completed tenders must be returned through the same e-tendering system. Closing date for receipt of tenders: 22nd November 2024 at 12 noon (UK time).
