Notice Title

Patient and Public Engagement and Involvement Training Programme

Notice Description

The Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency requires the appointment of an experienced training provider to design and deliver a Patient and Public Engagement and Involvement Training Programme. The Agency has committed to delivering a step-change in the way it engages with patients and the public, putting the views and interests of patients and the public at the heart of its decision-making and culture. The Independent Medicines and Medical Devices Safety Review has placed added focus and urgency on the need to adopt a more transparent, responsive and systematic approach to listening to and involving patients. The Agency's ambition - to become a patient-focused regulator which recognises patients as partners - will mean transforming its activity, culture and reputation in the minds of many patient groups. The training provider and nominated personnel including any sub-contractors/third parties should have relevant experience of designing and delivering similar-comparable courses. It is also desirable that the provider has a track record in patient and public engagement and involvement and where possible experience in delivering interventions within the healthcare sector. The Contract shall commence w-c 14 September 2020. Additional information: The Agency is using Bravo as its e-procurement solution.
