Notice Description

Newlon is a not for profit, charitable housing association founded in Hackney in 1968 to provide local people with decent and affordable homes. This remains our core mission. In partnership with our Group members, we also aim to provide people with the additional care and support they need to live their lives as successfully and independently as possible. We have three key objectives which we are aiming to meet by 2022: *To provide at least 2,000 new affordable homes for people in housing need. *To continue to improve the services we offer our residents. *To help 1,000 residents not currently in work into employment. Our Property Services department have a requirement for a Vertical Transportation/Lift contractor, who can deliver an improved lift maintenance service, carry out lift refurbishment works for our residents and make a contribution towards the employment of our residents. Due to the value of the overall service the contract will be tendered in accordance with the Public Contracts Regulations 2015, using the Open procedure, which is a one part process. Newlon will conduct the procurement process via our e-procurement web portal. Please refer to the 'attachments' section of this notice to find out how to register your interest in this opportunity.
