SFRS Hot Fire Training Facility
Notice Description
Suffolk Fire and Rescue Service (SFRS) requires to develop the current breathing apparatus (BA) training facilities at MoD Wattisham Flying Station, Great Bricett, Suffolk. A new training unit is required to support training and development of operational personnel in firefighting, search and rescue skills in a realistic and controlled environment. The unit must enable SFRS to train personnel in accordance with National Operational Guidance Foundation for Breathing Apparatus and BA Training Specification. SFRS are tendering for a carbonaceous burn training unit and an LPG fuelled unit, with a view to install one or the other. Additional information: This opportunity is available in the 'Current Tenders' area of www.suffolksourcing.uk.
