Notice Description

The University of Sheffield (UoS) with support funding from ERDF is establishing a PS19.9m Translational Energy Research Centre as an open access to business and academic users to a) provide innovation facilities to support local enterprises to develop low carbon energy products, and boost cooperation with research institutes; and b) demonstrate low carbon energy technologies. The project includes the construction of a two storey bespoke research facility as well as the procurement of RD&I equipment to be installed alongside equipment sourced under this and existing contracts. We are looking for an experienced consultant or organisation to carry out an interim Summative Assessment to satisfy ERDF compliance in accordance with ERDF summative assessment guidance and appendices (https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/evaluation-of-the-european-regional-development-fund-2014-to-2020). The project commenced on 01/09/2018 and will finish on 01/12/2021, the final C34 outputs will be delivered by 28/02/2023 (along with final Summative Assessment Report and Summary).
