Notice Description

The University of Plymouth plans to organise Graduation Ceremonies in large marquees on Plymouth Hoe, week commencing 15th July 2024. These prestigious events are a highlight in the University's calendar with approximately 12,000 graduates and guests attending across twelve ceremonies that week. The University is seeking to appoint a Site Management Company who will work with the University and liaise with contractors/suppliers through the planning and delivery stages. The Site Manager will have full responsibility for the running of the site during the build, the week of the graduation ceremonies and the de-rig (build to de-rig 1st July to 26 July 2024). The Site Manager will be suitably qualified with relevant large event experience and run the site in accordance with HSE CMD Regulations 2015 and in accordance with the License for use of The Hoe undertaken between the University of Plymouth and Plymouth City Council.
