Summary of the contracting process

The Stowey Sutton Parish Council (SSPC) is inviting tenders for the installation of a CCTV camera system aimed at safeguarding a newly developed children's play area in the Recreation Ground, located in Bristol, England. This open procurement process is currently in the Tender stage, with the submission deadline set for 12 midday on 8th April 2019. The contract period is expected to begin on 3rd June 2019, with completion required by 31st August 2019. Responses must be based on a firm price and include technical specifications for a local network video recording system, as outlined in the tender documentation.

This opportunity can significantly benefit small to medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) that specialise in surveillance and security systems, as well as those experienced in electrical installations and maintenance. Companies that can provide high-quality equipment, potentially including second-user options, and are capable of delivering within the specified timeframe are well-suited to compete for this contract. The expected maintenance service for the first year adds an attractive potential for ongoing business engagements beyond the installation phase.
