Avondale Park Primary School is a mixed-sex community School located in London and falls under the local authority Royal Borough of Kensington & Chelsea. Some of the School's Site Boundary Walls have been affected by subsidence effects; age defects and thermal movement and need repairs and remedial works. The proposed works comprise screening off the Work Zones on both sides, from the grounds of the School plus the adjacent Park and Roadway and removing fixtures; fittings and obstructions in the Park and the School Playground; Foot Path Diversions and Parking Bay Suspensions, followed by a combination of Demolition and Reconstruction in badly damaged Sections; Reinforced Concrete Buttress Installations on piled foundations, to provide lateral restraint to the wall beside the Park, together with in-situ repairs, strengthening and making good to restore the condition and appearance of the affected walls.
