Notice Title

(NU/1593) Supply of a Small Particle Flow Cytometer with high-throughput sample acquisition capabilities

Notice Description

The University wants to purchase a flow cytometer system with a clear and demonstrable ability to detect sub-micron particles such as bacteria, viruses and exosomes over system noise in a high-throughput manner, primarily for the analysis of aquatic samples (drinking, waste and sea waters). It will be part of the Newcastle Flow Cytometry Core Facility (NU-FCCF) but will form a new satellite facility within the Faculty of Science, Agriculture and Engineering (SAgE) that will focus on aquatic-based flow cytometry.
