Summary of the contracting process

Medway Council is seeking tenders for the provision of a Replacement Management Information System (MIS) for Medway Adult Education, aimed at supporting the council's educational services. This open procurement process, classified under e-learning services, is currently in the tender phase, with bids due by 9th July 2018. The selected system will be required to comply with Education & Skills Funding Agency (ESFA) rules, ensuring effective management and reporting capabilities for funding claims starting from April 2019. The contract is expected to run for three years, with the potential for two one-year extensions based on performance assessments.

This tender presents significant opportunities for businesses specialising in educational technology and software development, particularly those capable of creating systems that meet ESFA requirements. Small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and voluntary, community, and social enterprise (VCSE) organisations are encouraged to participate, given their capacity to deliver tailored solutions. Success in this contract could pave the way for further engagements with local authorities seeking innovative educational solutions.

Provision of Replacement of a Management Information System (MIS) for Medway Adult Education (MAE)

Notice Description

Medway Council invites applicants to tender for the provision of replacement of a Management Information System (MIS) for Medway Adult Education (MAE). Medway Adult Education have used the AQUA MIS, based on Education & Skills Funding Agency (ESFA) funding rules and regulations, for the past 20 years.
