he overarching aim of this service is to support people to live independently in their own homes as long as possible. This will be achieved through the following objectives: * Deliver Wirral Independence Service including the Telecare Monitoring and Response service and Falls Prevention Service * Provision of a Community Equipment Service (CES) for adults and children within the geographical boundary of Wirral Borough Council including those who live out of Borough and are registered with a Wirral GP. The service includes. * Pressure care, * Continuing Health Care (CHC), * Adult Visual Impairment & Hearing Impairment equipment, * Telecare and any future innovations (equipment, installation, maintenance, monitoring, decontamination and repair and recycling). * Mobility aids, * Moving and Handling, * Bariatric, * Schools Specialist Equipment, * Paediatrics, * Nebulizers * Toileting * Specialist non catalogue items * Minor Adaptations * Carers Emergency Response Cards Incorporating: * an online IT requisition. * monitoring performance dashboard and reporting system, * Community based Retail Outlet/ Demonstration facility (Centre for independent living) * online self-help/assessment system and to include purchase and recycling opportunity * suitably qualified, knowledgeable, and experienced staff to support those funding their own care and to provide professional assessment and oversight within the service
