Notice Description

X-Ray Tomography Device o The X-Ray source has to have an acceleration voltage of 190 kV and a beam current of 1mA o The device must have a spatial resolution of 600nm and a minimum pixel size of 100nm o The device must be supplied with different stages to test samples at different temperature ranges and under different tension/compression conditions. o The device must function fully over a temperature range from -20 C to 80 C o The devices must be able to precisely control the heating with an accuracy higher than 0.5oC and the devices with a wider temperature range will be of advantage o Supplied system must have varying temperature range applications OR be able to retrofit varying temperature capable stages of different manufacture into measuring chamber. o Device must come equipped with a variety of different sample holder types for various sample geometries (cylinders, cubic and irregular geometries) o There must be a 3 year warranty included o The device must be able to work for a variety of materials including but not limited to powders, solids, , composites and polymers over the temperature ranges o The device must have automatic control, data logging and software with powerful data analysis functions o A training package must be provided for a group of users o Supplied device must come will all required standards to calibrate o The device must come with a powerful computer needed for the measurement, control and data processing As detailed above, these devices must be able to control heating rates with good accuracy, record data at high resolutions, and analyse the data with a powerful built-in software package. Tenders must include all software packages available to both measure and post process data including full training and support. Support and service help A reliable service package is required to ensure the full upkeep and efficiency of the product. This can range from service care contracts for durations after installation to warranties for equipment and what they include. This also will include all technical support and training as well as potential application requirements in the future. The suppliers will agree to provide operational support for the duration of the paid for service contract.
