Summary of the contracting process

The procurement process titled "CP1980-20 Minor Engineering Works Framework 2022-2026" is initiated by Devon County Council, focusing on construction work within the South West region of the United Kingdom. Currently in the planning stage, this framework agreement aims to cover minor construction works from April 2022 to March 2026. Key milestones include an engagement end date set for 1st March 2021 and individual Works Orders for projects valued up to £1,500,000. The expected value of projects under the framework totals £15 million, with plans to create three lots targeting varying budget ranges for potential works.

This tender presents significant growth opportunities for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) specialising in construction, civil engineering, and related services. Businesses that can deliver minor works such as footways, cycle routes, and infrastructure improvements will find themselves well-suited to compete for contracts. Given the emphasis on engagement with the market, interested parties are encouraged to participate in discussions and share their insights, which will help shape the future procurement arrangements effectively.
