Summary of the contracting process

Luton Borough Council is seeking contractors for the "Woodlands Six Form SEN Expansion" project, which involves constructing a new standalone Sixth Form Block at Woodlands Secondary SEN School in Luton, East of England. The tender period is open until 8th June 2018, with the contract expected to commence on 27th August 2018 and conclude by 12th July 2019. This tender presents significant opportunities for businesses specialising in construction, particularly those experienced in educational projects and design & build methodologies. Companies that can demonstrate a proven track record in similar scale projects (£500,000 - £2 million), along with a commitment to social value initiatives and local sourcing, would be well-suited to participate in this procurement process. Given the project's nature, contractors with expertise in working within live school environments and delivering high-quality, compliant construction will have a competitive advantage.
