Notice Title
Defence Legislation Support Tool V2
Notice Description
There is a need for a new contract to provide the successor to the Defence Legislation Support Tool, which ends on 31 Mar 25. This will provide a service across Defence which will enable users to understand the relevant legislative safety requirements applicable to their domain as well as providing a suitable environment for demonstrating and managing compliance against those standards. This will be a key tool in safely managing Defence activities. Defence as an employer is required to meet the legal stipulations of various safety and regulatory statutory requirements both as a matter of law and as a matter of policy (as reflected in the Secretary of State for Defence's Health and Safety Policy Statement). In support of this, it is envisaged that the DLST V2 will be able to exploit modern technology to provide a service to Defence that will assist in making rapid, but fully considered, decisions in relation to safety. This will be achieved by having a distilled and readily available means of understanding the applicable legislative requirements relevant to Defence activities and an ability to demonstrate the status and extent of compliance against both those and Defence regulatory standards. At this stage the Authority is asking for information/comments on potential requirement. Interested parties should go through the attached Market Testing Question Set and provide answers to all the questions to which you are able.
