Notice Description

The Foreign and Commonwealth Office (FCO), seeks to appoint one or more Service Suppliers for the implementation of Prosperity Fund activity in Mexico entitled "Future Cities". The Service Supplier(s) will conduct: i) A standard assessment for Building Information Modelling (BIM) in Mexico, ii) A roadmap for a National low emission vehicles strategy for Mexico iii) A plan for key Mexican cities to structure urban transport projects and its financing mechanisms and; iv) one detailed plan for the improvement of development of Mexican Cities specifically focusing on the Transport Oriented Development methodology. The implementation of these will also identify potential commercial opportunities and areas for UK private sector engagement. The Prosperity Fund Programme Team in the British Embassy in Mexico City wishes to secure the services of experts to support Mexico in the development of more efficient and sustainable cities by delivering two main objectives: a) Standardise BIM implementation in Mexico to improve the logistics of the infrastructure sector on ports, airports, railways and hospitals b) Develop and structure sustainable urban mobility and transport oriented development strategies for Mexican cities More information can be found within the Invitation to Tender pack found at https://fco.bravosolution.co.uk
