Summary of the contracting process

The Sanctuary Housing Group has initiated a tender process for the "BuildDPS - Main Contractor Framework" aimed at commissioning contractors within various construction sectors in the United Kingdom. The tender falls under the industry category of sheltered housing construction work and is part of an active procurement stage, specifically a restricted procedure for works above the threshold. This Dynamic Purchasing System (DPS) framework encompasses the building of new residential properties, care homes, and commercial developments, with the framework running until 23rd February 2029. Interested suppliers must submit their electronic applications via the Local Supply Chain portal by 31st January 2029.

This tender represents a significant opportunity for businesses in the construction industry seeking to expand their portfolios. Enterprises with expertise in residential, affordable housing, care accommodations, and commercial building conversions are well-suited for this framework. Companies meeting standard requirements such as health and safety accreditations and demonstrating technical capabilities can benefit from involvement in a multi-billion GBP market. Additionally, the regional segmentation allows businesses to focus on specific geographical areas across the UK, catering their offerings to local demand and fostering regional growth in the construction sector.
