A hosted system that provides the framework to manage workflows for digitisation projects involving historic documents and material and which includes the facility for the transcription and indexing of the digitised images by e-volunteers through a single online platform. The transcription and indexing element should have the capability to adhere to relevant cataloguing and indexing standards including ISADG and MARC. The system should also have a front facing access module for the public and researchers which will link to RMG's existing website, online catalogues and databases. Additional information: The contracting authority considers that this contract may be suitable for economic operators that are small or medium enterprises (SMEs). However, any selection of tenderers will be based solely on the criteria set out for the procurement.
