Notice Description

This requirement is for the supply of a Clinical Information Benchmarking Solution System that provides access to and benchmarking of timely, detailed national health intelligence and market assessment data with which to monitor, compare and evaluate service provision, care quality and market assessment at different operating levels for both City Hospitals Sunderland NHS Foundation Trust (CHSFT) and also South Tyneside NHS Foundation Trust (STFT). The system must, as a minimum, provide comparative data relating to mortality, morbidity, acute hospital activity, primary care service demand and service referrals, quality of care indicators and Trust performance. In addition the system should identify and pre-empt potential clinical or operational performance issues. These tools will provide a Group-wide Clinical Information Benchmarking System comprising of functional modules: Clinical Quality Benchmarking Tool - Provide analytical tools that incorporate multiple health care related data sets to enable benchmarking, up to nationally, against peers Clinical Efficiency Benchmarking Tool - Provide investigative tools that provide insight to benchmark and identify clinical efficiencies Market Analysis Tool - Provide tools to identify referrals and market share information that support strategic decision making Clinician Performance Benchmarking Tool - Provide tools to report and benchmark individual Clinician performance and outcomes (where applicable). CHSFT and STFT (hereinafter called "the South Tyneside and Sunderland Healthcare Group") (STSHG) have formally committed to collaborating to transform services to ensure that the local communities they both serve will continue to receive high quality, safe and sustainable hospital and community health services in the future. The contract is for an initial 3 years with effect from 1st July 2017 with an option to extend for a further 1 year at the discretion of the STSHG and subject to satisfactory financial and contractual performance.
