Are you passionate about supporting people to live a good life? Do you want to work in partnership with like-minded providers, health and social care commissioners, social workers, communities? If the answer is Yes, we want you to bring your provider expertise to make a real difference in Wigan? In Wigan we are really proud of the partnerships that we have developed through our framework with ethical providers over the past four years and the positive impact that this has had on people's daily lives. Wigan's Ethical Framework for Community Living Services has been used to purchase millions of pounds worth of high quality, asset-based support for Wigan residents. We want to continue to attract ethical providers in Wigan who share our values and behaviours for ethical, asset based care and support, strengthening and continuing to build partnerships with sole traders, local businesses, SME's, charities and larger organisations who want to use their skills and expertise to support Wigan residents to live well at home. The current framework is due to end and we are keen to build on the success of the last four years and continue to go from strength to strength through the co-design of a new Care and Support Ethical Framework - Deal 2030. The new framework will be advertised in November and will establish new partnerships with the best providers across a wide number of areas including services that span adult and children's health and social care, united by our shared commitment to the very best high quality support enabling people to live well at home for as long as is right for them. To help you to find out more about our approach and the opportunities to work with Wigan residents and wider partners we have arranged a provider engagement event which we would like to invite you to attend. We look forward to welcoming you to take part in the Wigan Council Care and Support Ethical Framework - Deal 2030 Provider Engagement Event on Monday 4 November 2019. The focus of the event is to share our vision for the Care and Support Ethical Framework - Deal 2030. We will be outlining the scope of the Framework, discussing what has worked well previously and where we feel improvements need to be made, as well as exploring the requirements of each of the Lots.
