Notice Description

The Five Year Forward View for Mental Health states that by 2020/21 no acute hospital is to be without all-age mental health liaison services in emergency departments and inpatient wards, and at least 50 per cent of acute hospitals should meet the 'Core 24' service standard as a minimum. Health Education England Working across the Northwest in collaboration with NHS England and the North West Coast Strategic Clinical Networks are looking to engage with training providers with the ability to provide high quality and innovative multi-professional clinical skills training. This training will be aimed at mental health professionals working in liaison mental services in acute hospital settings. Training providers will be required to build effective collaboration with local clinical leaders in order to develop a robust and clinically relevant skills based curriculum that will be deliverable within the demands of clinical practice.
