Notice Title
Market Event - Positive Progressions
Notice Description
The North Area Council intends to commission a programme to work with 20 pupils across Years 10 and 11 who are disengaged from learning and at risk of becoming NEET. The young people will be identified in conjunction with participating schools and the local authority using the Risk of NEET Indicator (RONI). Eligible participants will reside in or attend schools within the electoral wards of Darton East, Darton West, Old Town and St Helens. The programme will be innovative, creative and will seek to develop new approaches to working with this group of young people. Outcomes will focus on attendance attainment and progression onto next step post 16 learning options that fulfil individual potential and help achieve aspirational career ambitions. Commissioners wish to invite interested providers to meet with them to refine the model and approach.
