Summary of the contracting process

The Barnsley Metropolitan Borough Council is currently in the planning stage for the procurement titled "Market Event - Positive Progressions," aimed at providing educational and training services. The project targets disengaged pupils in Years 10 and 11 within the Yorkshire and the Humber region, specifically in the electoral wards of Darton East, Darton West, Old Town, and St Helens. Businesses specialising in youth engagement, training, and community support services would be well-positioned to compete, benefiting from the council's goal to enhance school attendance and future educational pathways for participating students.
