Notice Description
Devon & Cornwall Police are seeking to establish a contract for the supply, delivery and after-sales support of two models of Ballistic Shields for use by Authorised Firearms Officers, Specialist Firearms Officers and Counter Terrorist Specialised Firearms Officers. At this time the forecast is for Devon & Cornwall Police however, Avon & Somerset Police, Dorset Police, Gloucestershire Police and Wiltshire Police are named Forces that may elect to purchase via this contract. This procurement will be divided up into Lots Lot 1 - Large Modular Ballistic Shield Lot 2 - Small Individual Ballistic Shield Additional information: Tenderers wishing to submit a tender for this procurement should do so in accordance with the following instructions. The Customer uses In-tend (https://sell2.in-tend.co.uk/blpd/home) for all tender submissions and supplier communication within this tendering process. Tenders will only be accepted electronically via In-tend. The use of In-tend enables a clear audit trail for the procurement process, increases transparency and reduces procurement process costs.
