Summary of the contracting process

The Department for Education is conducting an early market engagement event for Curriculum Experts for the period 2020-2022. This initiative, titled "Online Early Market Engagement event for Curriculum Experts," falls within the education and training services industry category. The engagement event is scheduled for 7 October 2019, from 11 am to 12 pm, with an engagement end date set for 7 October 2019. Interested parties must submit their expressions of interest by 1 October 2019 to be eligible to participate. This is currently in the planning stage, where the objective is to inform potential suppliers about the requirements and expectations for an upcoming competitive procurement process.

This engagement opportunity is particularly well-suited for small and medium enterprises (SMEs) and voluntary, community, and social enterprises (VCSEs) with relevant experience in the curriculum and assessment fields. Participation in this early market engagement could provide valuable insights into the forthcoming procurement, allowing businesses to understand better how to align their offerings with the needs of the Department for Education. Companies that have a knowledge base in educational services and a track record of similar engagements are encouraged to attend, as this could enhance their competitiveness in future tender processes.
