Notice Information
Notice Title
Health & Disability Services DLA Child Legacy Investigations
Notice Description
DLA Child uses a legacy system called DLACS, which is based on Cobol code. There is a heightened near-term risk associated with DLACS in terms of its ability to support required system changes. The business processes within its Cobol code are inadequately documented, and the extensive codebase presents significant challenges in training staff to support the system, debug issues, and accommodate new legislative requirements.
