C&M Transformation Programme

Notice Description

C&M ADASS is a voluntary collaborative between the 9 Directors of Adult Social Services across the Integrated Care System footprint of Cheshire & Merseyside. Cheshire & Merseyside is one of the largest and most complex Integrated Care Systems in England. Cheshire & Merseyside has a population of 2.7 million people and comprises 9 Local Authorities, 17 NHS Providers and 375 GP practices. As a region we have a combined direct spend on adult social services of PS1.2B, and a direct care workforce of 76,600. Our focus as a collaborative will always be on improving life for everyone, their family and the community and place in which they live. However, when it makes sense, it is right for us to do so and it will add value, we will work together to: 1. Enable individuals to support their own wellbeing; and where additional support is needed, offer personalised care that improves outcomes for individuals, families and carers. 2. Make use of our collective strengths to reduce inequality and improve health and wellbeing, 3. Share good practice, learn from each other, 4. Reduce unnecessary variation and provide consistency in the delivery and quality of services, 5. Make best use of our resources and ensure financial sustainability 6. Provide the support and mutual aid our neighbours may need in times of crisis, 7. Jointly support our shared provider market and work with our provider partners to aspire to excellence.
